Son of Andrew and Clara (Breunig) Boesch. Married Anna Schmitz on February 10, 1903 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, St. Bernard, Nebraska. ````````````` Cedar Valley Promoter (Cedar Rapids, Nebr.), April 1, 1954, p. 1, col. 1 Henry Boesch Passed Away Henry Boesch passed away Saturday, march 27th at 8 p.m. at Genoa, Nebr. at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 18 days. He had been ill about four months. He was born April 14th, 1880 at St. Bernard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Boesch and attended school at St. Bernard. He was married to Anna Schmitz at St. Bernard Febr. 10, 1903. To this union 8 children were born andn all left to mourn him, Joe, of Cozad, Lawrence, of Albion, Conrad, of Vancover, Wash., Leo, of Tex Lake, Ill., Tony, Rose, Catherine, and Heneretta, of Cedar Rapids. His wife preceded him in death in January 1929. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He lived at Lindsay 3 years, Albion one year and the rest of his life at Cedar Rapids. He was engaged in farming all his life until retirement. He was an ardent member of the Catholic church. Funeral services were held at St. Anthony's Catholic church Tuesday March 30, at 9:30 a.m. with Father Buehler officiating at a Requiem High Mass sung by the 3 voice choir with Mrs. Larry Massman organist. Burial was in St. Anthony's cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Siemek, Alphonce Syslo, Dillard Farmer, Lawrence Haschke, Ed Kleffner and Ted Jarosz. Honorary Pallbearers were Stanley Starczek, Joe M. Jarosz, Joe F. Jarosz, John Torson, Adolph Ritzdorf and Fred Goering. Relatives and friends attending the funeral from a distance were from Lindsay, Humphrey, Columbus, St. Bernard, Petersburg, Greeley, Central City and Grand Island.
