Cedar Rapids Outlook (Cedar Rapids, Nebr.), March 26, 1925, p. 1, col. 2 BABY DIES The seven month old baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. George Homan died Sunday afternoon from an attack of the influenza. Funeral services wer held at the St. Anthony Church Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock and interment made in the Sun Set cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. John Bykerk and daughter, Miss Ethel, went to Cedar Rapids Monday to attend the funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Bykerk's little granddaughter, Ruth Arlene Homan, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Homan, on Tuesday morning. The Homan family have been ill with influenza and the babe died Sunday. She was 7½ months old, born August 12, 1924. Miss Bykerk returned to David City Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Bykerk remained for a few days.
