Bio

Son of George Henry and Lou Ollie Davis and spouse of Ora Viola Robertson. McLEAN - Funeral services for Guy Cecil Saunders, 74, native of Lefors, were held at 2 p.m. today in Bell Avenue Church of Christ, Amarillo with Curtis Kemp, minister, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery was directed by Lamb Funeral Home of McLean. Saunders died Tuesday morning in Groom Memorial Hospital. He had worked in Panhandle in his early years and was an oilman and retired rancher at the time of his death. He resided in McLean. Surviving are his wife, Ora Viola; daughter, Mrs. Louella Hall, McLean; brothers, George of McLean, and Horace of Pampa; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a niece, Mrs. Walter Morgan of Borger.
