Irene Lilly Coker Irene Lilly Coker, of Rosenberg, died April 26, 2004 in Bay City, Texas. She was born August 6, 1926 in Needville, Texas to the late Joe H. and Elsie Hida Hluchan Michalec. Mrs. Coker was a resident of Rosenberg the past 50 years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg. She was a retired Production Supervisor for Dresser Atlas Industries. Survivors include: one sister of Rosenberg; one brother of Needville; two granddaughters and husbands all of Bay City. Mrs. Coker was preceded in death by her husband Louis L. Coker and her daughter Elaine Talasek. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at The First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg with Rev's. David Northcut and Charles Teykl officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the First Presbyterian Church starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday till service time. Pallbearers will be Robert Davis, Jean Miller, Jonathan Talasek, Pete Talasek, Mike Talasek, and Dennis Sbrusche. Honorary pallbearers will be Kirk Kaykendal, Jimmy Kopecky, George Michalec, Larry and Mark Silhavy. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg.
