Bio

Edna Alice Moore was born 1864 in MS; her parents are not known. The Moore family moved from MS to the Hillsboro, Texas, area, bet. 1864 and 1889.Edna Alice aka Alice Moore had one sister, Maggie Moore Kelley, and one brother, who died of tuberculosis at age 14. She also had an Uncle Granville Moore. Alice married John Nathaniel Roberts 1889 in Texas. Children of John and Alice Roberts: Wm. Andrew (1893-1958), Samuel Jones (1895-1985), and Johnnie Lee Roberts (1897-1960). The Roberts family resided in 3-Pct. of Ellis County, near Ennis.
