Bio

Evelyn LaVera Hunt, 85, of Grant City, passed away March 31, 2012, at Orilla's Way, Grant City. She was born August 14, 1926, in Gaynor, Mo., to Raymond and Nellie (Hawk) Jobst. She married Alan Alson Hunt on March 22, 1951. They had four daughters. Alan preceded her August 16, 2006. Also preceding her were parents; brother, Noel (Bud) Jobst; son-in-law, Donald Holub; grandsons, Andrew and Matthew Goff. Evelyn is survived by daughters, Janis (John) Sunderland, Placitas, N.M., Eddis Holub, St. Joseph, Ramona (Stephen Goff), Grant City, Lorna (Terry) Medhus, Gilman, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard and Robert Jobst; sister Ramona Broderick. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City. Interment will be in Grant City Cemetery.
