Bio

Herald Coaster, November 3, 1975: Graveside services for Clyde V. Murphy, 72, of Guy, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Needville Public Cemetery, with the Rev. Leslie C. Welch officiating. Mr. Murphy died Nov. 1 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. A native of Mississippi, he was a longtime resident of this area. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Syble Losak of Orchard and Wilma Michna of Houston; two brothers, Clarence C. Murphy of Brenham and Paul Murphy of Freeport; two sisters, Mrs. Earlene Overman of Freeport and Mrs. Mavelene Bransteder of Rockdale; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Garmany & Co. Funeral Home in Rosenberg after 1:30 today.
