Bio

Texas Coaster, December 6, 1956: Final rites were held here Tuesday for Gerald Grady McCall, 62, from the Peace Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. Mr. McCall passed away while at work Sunday morning. He had lived at La Marque for 14 years before moving to Rosenberg about two years ago. He was associated with the Fort Bend Land Company. Mr. McCall is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lydia McCall; two brothers, Horace of Houston and Leslie of La Marque; and one sister, Mrs. Vera Lowe of La Marque. The Rev. B.F. Gaskamp of the Peace Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was made in the Needville Public Cemetery under the direction of Garmany-Janca Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jack Epps Jr., Emil Dockal, Melvin Kurtz, Fred Chaloupka, A.D. Schulze, and W.F. (Bill) Doggett.
