Bio

Herald Coaster, January 21, 1970: Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Lehmann, 81, widow of Ben J. Lehmann of Needville, were held at 4 p.m. Jan. 13 in the Needville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Norman Garrett officiating. Burial was in the Needville Public Cemetery. Mrs. Lehmann died Sunday night in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. A native of Schertz, she had resided in Fort Bend County nearly all her life. Survivors include two sons, Charlie Lehmann of Needville and Oscar Lehmann of Rosenberg; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hulda Sevier of Taft and Mrs. Frieda Eisman of Fort Worth. Pallbearers: Ben Lehmann, Carl Lehmann, Richard Lehmann, Larry Lehmann, Ben Charles Reeh, and E.D. LeBouef. Arrangements were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.
