Josef was born in Cermna, Bohemia, house #141. He brought his family to America, leaving Bremen Germany 3/18/1871 and arriving in Galveston, TX 5/10/1871 aboard the "Bremen". Wife: Frantiska Silar Hejl 6/25/1831 -- 12/15/1899 Early members of the Industry Brethren Church.. Very Devout in Christian Faith.
