Cecile Genzer Obituary CECILE B. GENZER, aged 89 of Pasadena, Texas, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Friday, December 26, 2003. She was born Joyce Cecile Breithaupt on October 9, 1914, in Jena Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Ike F. Genzer. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Jimmie Lynn Spinks of La Porte, TX and two sons; Charles T. Genzer and wife Darline of Pasadena, TX, and Frank Genzer Jr. of Biloxi, MS; seven grandchildren, Steven Spinks, Douglas Spinks, Mrs. Shelia G. Moore, Mrs. Tina G. White, Mrs. Rhonda G. Eliassen, Mrs. D'Ann G. Fleming and Mrs. Re'Nan G. Evans and eighteen great grandchildren. She lived in her adopted state of Texas most of her adult life, living in South Houston and Pasadena for the past 64 years where she was active in civic organizations, a member of Faith United Methodist Church of South Houston and later First United Methodist Church of Pasadena. Her favorite past time other than traveling and collecting cookbooks was her love of sewing, needle point and counted cross stitch. She was an inspiration to all who knew, loved and cared for her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be from 1-5 P.M on Sunday at Grand View Funeral Home, Pasadena, TX. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 29, 2003, at Grand View Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kipp Gilts and Dr. Royce Measures officiating and inspirational music by granddaughters and granddaughter-in-law, Ms. K.T. Gardner. Interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
