Bio

Mary was born in the Chickasaw Nation to R W Woodard from Alabama and M. Ella McDonald from Georgia. She married Claborne W Webb from Scott County, Virginia and was the mother of four children. Claborne died in 1926. Mary never remarried and moved to Oklahoma City and raised her two daughters and two sons on her own. Her mother remarried in 1908; it is unknown when her father died. Her children were Violet Loretta Webb Swanson 1918-1988, Ozelle Lilly Webb Buckbee Shepherd 1920-1997, Wayne Savasta Webb 1922-1984 and Winifred Leon Webb 1924-2000.
