Edward Darrell Deason, 41, of 310 Waco St. Apt. 117, in League City, died at12:55 p.m. March 8 at Galveston County Memorial Hospital in Texas City. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 10 at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, La. Burial followed at Drakes-Fork Cemetery in Cravens, La.Local arrangements were under the direction of James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.Mr. Deason was born October 9, 1935, in Leesville, La. He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local No. 973 of Texas City. He was also a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his I mother, Mrs. Mertiel Deason of Rpsepine, La. four sisters, Mrs. Bernice J Didway of Rosepine, La.,Mrs. Carolyn Johnson of DeRidder, La., Mrs. Bonita J. Walsh of Natrona, Pa., and Mrs. Onita Johnson of La Marque; and twobrothers, Harold R. Deason of San Antonio and George W. Deason of Sulphur, La. La Marque TimesMar. 16 1977
