The Bonham Daily Favorite, Bonham, Texas, Friday, December 15, 1978 Mrs. Iris Smith Leonard — Services for Mrs. Iris Smith, 74, of Leonard, who died this morning in a Leonard nursing home, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Taylor Funeral Chapel in Leonard, conducted by Rev. Ted Eaton. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was born February 25, 1904, at Pike, Tex., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Linsey Clemmons. She married Earl (Chub) Smith April 14, 1935, in Durant. Her husband preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Buck Latimer; one step-daughter, Mrs. Bill Hayes of Greenville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
