Bio
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Howell born in Alabama or Tennessee depending on which census you look at... her family lived in both states just across state lines in different counties...she along with siblings were torn between families before moving to TX She was the daughter of Solomon and Sarah Sandlin Howell who must have died early as Lizzie and her siblings as children were split up among aunts, uncles and grandparents to be raised. Lizzie and her Aunt and Uncle moved to Texas where she met and married John Henry Brown and raised a family...they had 3 children Sara Truehart Brown Matthews (husband was Carroll Matthews) 1903-1972 Eddie Howell Brown 1907-1989 (buried in Holly Springs) Oscar W. Brown 1911 (haven't found him since the 1930 census living with his parents age 19. Research provided by Diana Brooks McBay
