Sybil Roxie Pickens Inman, age 86, of Hutto passed away April 8, 2005. Sybil was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed. Sybil was born in San Antonio on December l0, l9l8. Her family moved to Georgetown while she was still a baby. She married Guy L. Inman on June l8, l938. After living in Round Rock l3 years, they moved to Hutto and owned a gas station for almost 30 years. Sybil spent her life devoted to her family. She helped her husband run the gas station, as well as working at the Hutto Post Office for l4 years. Sybil always found a way to have time for anyone who needed her. She was a member of the Round Rock Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Guy L. Inman, son David T. Inman, adopted daughter Betty Jo Kennedy, two infant sons, sisters Ruby Inez Mackey and "Pollie" Pickens, and brother "Bud" Pickens. Sybil is survived by son; Sammie R. Inman and wife Shirley; daughter-in-law, Linda Inman; brother, Dewey Pickens; five granddaughters, Connie Popp, Lora Zimmerman, Leslie Inman, Brenda Rowe and Amy Schumann; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Seton Hospital medical personnel as well as family and friends for their care and concern.
