Clarence Vernon Peace, age 71, of New Boston, TX died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his home in New Boston, TX. He was born September 9, 1940 in Center, TX. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired from 25 year career in law enforcement. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Comforter Funeral Home, New Boston, TX. Services will be held at 11:30, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Comforter Funeral Home in New Boston, TX followed by an interment at 3:00 P.M., at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Center, TX. Under the direction of Mangum Funeral Home. He is survived by his daughter, Geneva Carpenter Rainer of Humble, TX, two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Cindy Carpenter of Springtown, TX., Mark and Tina Peace of New Boston, TX., Ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Two Brothers and sisters-in-law, John & Jean Peace of Norman, OK., and Bruce and Ramona Peace of Pearland,TX
