MATILDA ELIZABETH MCCARTY was born 09 May 1874 in Wise County, Virginia, and died 19 February 1946. She married JOHN FLETCHER MINTON, son of WILLIAM HENRY MINTON (1841-1928) and ELIZABETH HOLBROOK (1844-1926). He was born 13 June 1873 in Russell County, Virginia, and died 08 August 1963.
