LaVada Brewer Rankin, age 91, of Wake Village, Texas, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Rankin was born June 1, 1920 in Morewood, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of Spring Lake Baptist Church, Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Rankin and a son, Fred Rankin. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Diann Rankin; two daughters and one son-in-law, Freda Coon and Pat and Bob Sorsby; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends. Burial: Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Chapelwood Funeral Home, Nash, Texas
