Cleta Maxine Whiteside, 69, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012, at the funeral home. Cleta Maxine was born in Fairfield, Texas, to the late Vernon Henry and Cleo McAdams. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and researching her family history. Maxine is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Warren Whiteside ; granddaughter, Sara Whiteside; brother, George McAdams; and sisters, Barbara Estes and Martha Sepin. She is survived by her son, William Leslie Whiteside; daughter, Angela Kaye Tibbitt; father of her children, Fred Whiteside; grandchildren, Kimberly Neal, Kris Whiteside, Levi Whiteside, Jeff Whiteside, Chad Whiteside, Jesse Lee Whiteside, Kallista Whiteside, Madison Tibbitt and Chance Tibbitt; great-grandchildren, Weston Cole Whiteside, Aynslie Emma Whiteside, Carson Kenneth Whiteside, Rylie Allyn Whiteside, Justin Trip Neal, Warren Colt Neal and Cleo Sophia Cheynne Neal; and many other family members and friends.
