Dear SRGF, hi, my name is Tricia, and I wanted to mention to you that Paul Chleborad was married to Miss Lois Virginia Evans sometime after 1940; I just don't know exactly when. I don't know why she wasn't mentioned in his obituary. I do not have a marriage record, but I do have this record to show that they were married: Paul James Chleborad in the U.S., Navy Casualties Books, 1776-1941. Residence Place: California, USA Branch of Service: US Navy Spouse: Virginia Evans Chleborad Volume Title: Combat Naval Casualties, World War II, (AL-MO). Source Information Ancestry.com. U.S., Navy Casualties Books, 1776-1941 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2012. This collection was indexed by Ancestry World Archives Project contributors. Original data: Various volumes. Washington, D.C.: Navy Department Library. I cannot find a burial record for Mrs. Virginia Chelborad Krause. She died in California in 1983. I didn't know if you would mind putting her in his bio, since she's not in his obituary, or if you would mind if I added a flower with her name to it. Thank you for this find memorial to a brave young solder. Kind regards, Tricia Contributor: Tricia (48866134) Helen (Stanek) Chleborad was Paul's step-mother. Paul's mother was Myrtle (Martin) Chleborad, Theodore Chleborad's first wife.
