The Bonham Herald, Bonham, Texas, Thursday, October 15, 1942, Page 1 Dave Lacy Dave Lacy, 68, died suddenly Sunday morning at his home southeast of Leonard. He was born March 18, 1874 in Missouri. He married Miss Nancy Watson December 30, 1900 and had lived in the Leonard community for the last 40 years. Surviving are his widow; two sons Elmer and Eura Lacy of Leonard; a brother, Rube Lacy of Celeste; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Coonrod of Brady and Mrs. Letha Holcomb of Jacksonville, Fla., and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday from the Leonard Baptist church conducted by Rev. Charles Myers. Interment was in the Leonard cemetery.
