Bio
Carroll C. Wedemeyer, age 80, of Georgetown, Texas, died at his home, Friday, August 18, 2006. He was born to parents Dr. W.C. Wedemeyer and Nora (Braun) Wedemeyer on March 11, 1926 in Walburg. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Dr. Horace H. Wedemeyer, all of Georgetown. Carroll is survived by his nephew Howard Barkley Wedemeyer of Houston, great-niece Allison Wedemeyer of Arlington, Virginia, great- nephew Howard Barkley Wedemeyer, Jr. of Millsaps College in Mississippi, and by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Carroll was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, during W.W. II, in Germany, and has resided at the family ranch since his honorable discharge. Graveside Services were held on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the family plot at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown. [Based on an obituary published in the Austin American-Statesman on 8/22/2006.]
