Bio

PIEDMONT Mrs. Florence E. Jech, 57, died Sunday at her home after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Piedmont United Methodist Church, with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery, directed by Turner Funeral Home, Yukon. Mrs. Jech, a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church, was born in Piedmont and lived here all her life, except a year during which she taught school near Kingfisher. She had received a teaching certificate from Central State College in 1935. Survivors include her husband, Ernest; a daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Taylor, Ft. Lee, Va.; a brother, Gordon Bennett, Piedont, and a sister, Mrs. Nina Mae Dow, Okarche. Memorials may be made to the Piedmont United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
