Memorial services for Elaine Woods, 57, of San Gabriel will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at the Rockdale VFW Post. Mrs. Woods died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 in Scott & White Hospital in Temple. She was born Aug. 12, 1954, in Taylor to Albert and Mary (Cervenka) Machu. Mrs. Woods was raised in Circleville and was a Granger High School graduate. She married in May 1976 in Holland. Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her parents and her special mom, Allie Woods. Survivors are her husband, three sons, and a daughter, also, 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Rockdale Reporter 9/1/2011
