Arkansas CPL CO 3 39 BN US Guards World War I Huntsville - Leonard Lee Walker, 76, died December 24 at the home of a sister, Mrs. Timber Hill near Elkins. He was born November 6, 1893 in Madison County, the son of George and Mary Walker. Survivors include five sisters, Minnie Hill; Liza Gabbard; Della Richie; Ruby Brannon; and Cora Pool; and one brother, Eber. Source: Northwest Arkansas Times, Thursday, December 26, 1963, page 10.
