Victoria Kucherka daughter of Frank and Anna Skutca.Victoria Skutca married Charles Kucherka. ____________________ Funeral services for Mrs.Victoria Kucherka of Columbus were held Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.Burial was at St. Michael's Cemetery in Weimar. Services were under the direction of Henneke Funeral Home and were directed by The Rev.Arnold Anders. Mrs.Kucherka,who resided most of her life in Columbus,died at Columbus Community Hospital Sunday at the age of 78. She was born Nov. 6,1901 at Weimar,the daughter of Frank Skutca and Anna Hudec Skutca.She was married on Oct. 30,1922 to Charlie Kucherka who preceded her in death on Oct. 15,1971. She was a member of the Catholic Church and affiliated with the Altar Society. Survivors include two sons,Charlie L. Kucherka Jr. of New Braunfels and Clarence A. Kucherka of Pearland;six sisters,Mrs.Millie Kuehn of Weimar,Mrs.Gladys Sebesta of Houston,Mrs.Mary Janda of San Antonio,Mrs.Regina Dittmar of Corpus Christi,Josephine Bartsch of Houston and Annie Krolczyk of Houston;one brother Frank Skutca of Alleyton;six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Stanley Kucherka,Ray Waldrip,Steve Skutca,Frankie Kainer,Ronnie Sebesta and Bennie Joe Skutca. Colorado County Citizen,January 3,1980,page 2
