BOOKER E. BALLARD, 99, Haleyville Health Care Center, died on Tuesday, December 28, 1993, at Burdick-West Hospital in Haleyville. He was born on October 4, 1894, the son of Ike and Clemitie Tice Ballard. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had lived in Hamilton all of his life until he became disabled. Funeral services were held on Friday, December 31, 1993, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the City Cemetery in Hamilton. Dale Jenkins was the officiating minister. Survivors include his wife of 80 years - Ellie Godsey Ballard, Haleyville Health Care Center; two sons - Williard and Eugene Ballard, both of Adrian, Mich.; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives.
