Daughter of George Washington Hodgin and Nancy Irvin (or Irwin) Wife of John Franklin Davis (1st marriage) NC Marriage collection on familysearch.org lists a Guilford County marriage between John F. Davis and Alice A. Hodgin on 20 Jul 1876 with her parents listed as Washington Hodgin and Nancy Hodgin. Wife of Zachariah Groome (2nd marriage) NC Marriages collection on familysearch.org lists a Guilford County marriage on 17 Jul 1900 between Zachariah Groome 72yo (with parents listed as Carter Groome and Mary B. Groome) and Belle Davis 45yo (with parents listed as Washington Hodgin and Nancy Hodgin). However, Zachariah Groome died in 1904 and she was not listed in his obituary as his surviving wife. In addition, in the 1910 census she is not using the last name "Groome", rather she is using Davis.
