Graduated from McArthur High School in 1972 in Houston, TX then Stephen F. Austin with a BBA – Magna Cum Laude in 1978 Worked for American Steel Building, then on to Mid West Steel Building and founded his own company, Pro-Bilt Steel Building in Houston, TX in 1992 Preceded in death by his father, Quinton Whitehead in 1957; step-father, Bills Phipps in 1990
