Source: Herald-Banner, July 24, 2015 Grover Lee Wright, 88, of Celeste passed away July 21, 2015. He was born July 23, 1926, in Greenville to Olan and Edna Wright. Grover proudly served our country in the United States Army. He loved horses. Grover is survived by his daughters, Joan Thacker and Jean Ann Smith; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Walker Wright; son Gerald Eldridge; parents; sisters Bertha June Mayo, Betty Marler and Billie Howard; and brothers Ray Wright and Olan Wright Jr. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville.
