Bio
Rose Marie Simmons, 65, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 27, 2012, at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Rose Marie was born on December 10, 1946, in Texas City, Texas, to the late John and Roberta (Butler) Simmons. She graduated from UTA, taught school at Arlington ISD, and recently retired from Dallas ISD. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Preston Cremer, and a brother, Richard Michael Simmons. Those left to cherish her memories include her twin sister, Sherry Simmons; brother, John Simmons and wife Karen; niece, Suzanne Sadler and husband Brent; nephew, Douglas Simmons and wife Janaina; and grandnieces: Bridget and Shannon Sadler, and Melissa Simmons.
