Morand Mrs. Rosa B. Morand, 79, of 2600 Clay, died Friday at her home. She was born at Fall River and had lived in Topeka for 62 years. Mrs. Morand was a member of the Christian Church. She and her husband, Ed Morand of the home, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 21. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold Harrison of the home; a son, Ernest Morand, Valley Falls; four brothers, Frank Cope of the home, Charles Cope, 1933 Clay; Jess Cope, Route 4, and Albert Cope, 1520 Brooklyn; four sisters, Mrs. Flora Baxell, 2033 Lincoln; Mrs. Daisy Prather and Mrs. Lillian Moeser, both of 910 West 10th, and Mrs. Odette Gibbs, 1444 Westover. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Eslinger Funeral Home with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
