Rowe at the Baptist church last Saturday afternoon, with Rev. Purdum of the Adventist church in Grand Island conducting the services. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery. Junia Iona Grey [sic], oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Grey was born in Anderson, Iowa, March 19, 1890 and departed this life in Loup City April 13, 1939. While still an infant she moved with her parents to Jennings, Kansas, then to Sherman county, where she grew to womanhood. On April 24, 1910, she was married to Wm. J. Rowe. To this union five children were born. In early womanhood she was converted to Adventist faith, to which church she was an earnest, loyal and active member throughout the remainder of her life. Being of a retiring disposition, it was to her family, those most closely associated with her in everyday life, that she manifested her christian character and loyal devotion. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, W. J. Rowe, a son Wilbur Rowe of Loup City, Mrs. Bernice Pollard of Alliance, Beulah, Wayne, William Jr. and a grand daughter Donna at home.
