Pana, Ill. March 17,—Mrs. Catharine Hogan died at her home on South Locust yesterday evening at 6:30. Mrs. Hogan was born in Ireland March 10, 1829. Her maiden name was Catherine Walsh. She and Jeremiah Hogan were married at Buffalo, N. Y., In 1862. They came to Pana five years later and have resided here ever since. Mrs. Hogan's husband died In 1897. Mrs. Hogan leaves six children and many friends to mourn her loss. Two children preceded her to the world beyond. Mrs. Hogan was one of the old citizens of Pana, having lived here forty- nine years. The funeral services will be held at the Catholic church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery.
