Bio

Floy Commilla Pokladnik passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on February 17, 2012 at her home in Dallas, TX. She was born on December 6, 1931 in Wood County, TX to her parents, Dewitt and Coy Holt. Floy was one of 6. She married Joseph in Dallas on March 31, 1962. They had 3 children. She was a longtime resident of Dallas for 50 years. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking and canning, entertaining, and being with family. Floy will be remembered by her loving husband, and their children Jennifer and Michelle and husband Laren. She is also survived by her sister Nora, her brother Bobby, and her grandchildren; Brian, Randy, Matthew, Nathan, Austin and Erin. Floy was preceded in death by her son Carl, her sisters Lavertie and Lodean and her brother GR. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00am at Restland Wildwood Chapel to be followed by interment at DFW National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
