QUANAH - Verna Jo McGuire, 80, of Mountain Home, Idaho, formerly of Quanah, died Monday, March 15, 2004. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Goodlett Cemetery in Goodlett by Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. McGuire was born May 19, 1923, on the Ross Ranch near Goodlett. She married Juddy Menco McGuire on June 4, 1941, in Altus, Okla. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Dow of Mountain Home; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
