Bio

Mrs. Elsie F. Glassey, 66, of 1757 8th Street Circle, Port Hueneme, died yesterday after a short illness. Mrs. Glassey was born April 22, 1898 in Fort Worth, Tex., coming to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Francis L. Beason in Port Hueneme four months ago from Dumas. Tex. She also is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Ida B. White of Dumas; sons, R. V. Glassey of Guymon, Okla., and Steve Glassey of Perryton, Tex.; brothers, Clifford Stephenson of Santa Anna, Tex., and Albert Dean of Bangs, Tex.; sister, Mrs. Onna Phillips of Hereford, Tex., Mrs. Nealy Evens of Santa Anna, Tex., and Mrs. Emma S. Stacey of Abilene, Tex., and 19 grandchildren. Interment will be in the Cheyenne Cemetery in Cheyenne, Okla. Friends may call at the Payton Mortuary in Oxnard until 10 a.m., Wednesday.
