Bio

Aaron Robbins Hanna, 79, of Durham died June 10, 1948, at the City Hospital. Survivors were three sons, Owen, Farrell, and Luther; four daughters, Miss Ruth Hanna, Mrs. Pearl Clark, Mrs. Roma Pool, and Mrs. Ada Pelfrey; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Springston and Mrs. Mace Smith; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the McCord Church by the Rev. Tommy Gibbs and the Rev. O. L. Lierly. Burial was in the McCord cemetery, under direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel.
