Bio
Evelyn Delores Smith, 75, passed from this life on Monday, February 13, 2012. Mrs. Smith was a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife and had a love for animals. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Jerry Johnson and wife Monica of Pitkin, Louisiana; four daughters, Vickie Griffin of Harlingen, Texas; Deborah Wise and husband Terry of Mora, Louisiana; Rhonda Haymon and husband Jon of Pineville, Louisiana and Shelia Johnson of Iowa, Louisiana. She is survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by husband, Doyle Smith and mother, Evelyn Jackson. Funeral service were Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Smyrna Baptist Church. Burial followed at Smyrna Cemetery. Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana.
