John William Ruzicka, 59, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center. John was born on November 26, 1952 in Ord, Nebraska to William and Patricia (McCarty) Ruzicka. John received his early education at St. Agnes Catholic School and graduated from Scottsbluff High School. He attended St. Thomas Seminary College and graduated in 1975. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors are: sister Peg (Lyle) Nees, brothers: Jeff (Robin) Ruzicka, J.P. (Laurie) Ruzicka, Tim (Jodi) Ruzicka, Chris (Melanie) Ruzicka and Kevin Ruzicka; nephews: Bill Ruzicka, Corey Ruzicka, Josh Ruzicka, Ryan Ruzicka, Justin Ruzicka, Jared Ruzicka and Robert Ruzicka; nieces: Kayla Ruzicka, Dani Ruzicka, Shawna Ruzicka, Megan Ruzicka, Sarah Preston and Melissa Ruzicka and three great nieces. John was preceded in death by: parents. Inurnment was in the Mitchell Valley Cemetery, Mitchell, Nebraska.
