Murlene Joslin was born 8 April 1941 in Hopkins County, Texas to William Frank and Bertha Lee Massey Joslin. She married Luther Jack Petrea 25 February 1960 in Hopkins County, Texas. They had two children named Linda Darlene and Harold Dean Petrea. Murlene Joslin Petrea died 30 September 2004 and was buried in the Nelta Cemetery.
