Bio

Isom E. Briscoe, of Fayetteville, was born June 22, 1888 at Ava, Missouri, the son of Issac R. and Vealli Ann Truitt Briscoe. He died March 30, 1975 in a local hospital. At the time of his death, he was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dollie Parker and Mrs. Avezine Baker; three step-daughters, Mrs. Annie Lassen, Mrs. Clersie Davidson, and Mrs. Bonnie Furr; two step-sons, Claude Martin and Virgil Pelfrey; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services at Walnut Grove Community Church (Crosses) with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
