Bio

Goldie Shepherd, 98, of Grand Island, formerly of Ansley, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Wedgewood Hospice Center in Grand Island. Goldie was born March 26, 1913, near Arcadia in Valley County to Samuel and Rhoda (Henry) Hurlbert. On Oct. 26, 1932, she married John Shepherd at Berwyn. He preceded her in death.
