Bio

Herald Coaster, May 25, 1972: Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday for Mrs. Frances Repka, 82, an East Bernard resident who died in a Wharton hospital. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Friday at Triska Chapel in East Bernard. Services follow Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Rev. Don Kukral officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Wallis. A native of Fayette County, Mrs. Repka had lived in the East Bernard-Wallis area 53 years. Survivors include her husband, Willie; daughter, Miss Lassie Repka, both of East Bernard; her sons, Bill of Industry, Eugene of East Bernard, and Lee and Bennie, both of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Blaha of Rosenberg, Mrs. Lucy Michalec of Houston, and Mrs. Millie Matocha of La Grange; her brother, Louis Zbranek of West Point; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the Triska Chapel in East Bernard.
