On July 29, 2017, Lydia Ann Divis left her earthly home to be reunited with her husband. She was born March 29, 1919 to John and Tillie (Korbel) Stejskal. Lydia grew up on a farm in Banner, OK and lived there until she married Raymond Divis, and the two made their home in Moore, OK. After Raymond’s death in 1970, Lydia went to work as a sales associate at JC Penney in Crossroads Mall; she was employed there until the store relocated to Moore. She was an active member of the Czech Hall, and was very involved in Czech Fest, where she would make numerous kolaches for those who attended. She loved to cook, and had several “famous” dishes she was known for by her family members. A talented artist and gardener, Lydia could usually be found outside in her garden or painting, both of which she enjoyed deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband, Raymond. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: brother, Henry Stejskal; nephews, Ricky Stejskal and wife Debbie, David Stejskal and wife, Theresa; and great nieces and nephews: Heather Mills, husband James and their children Tillie and Tensley, Amanda McMahon, husband Richard and their children Emma and Luke, Brandi Stejskal, and Dusty Stejskal, wife Heather and their children Kendall and Jordan. Visitation will be held Thursday 12pm-8pm, and Friday 8am-8pm. A ceremony to celebrate Lydia’s life will be held 10:30am Saturday in the Chapel at Resthaven.
