Married Feb 8 1866 Jay Co., IN, William C Louck (b.~1844 OH, d. 1885-1900); were living in Hall Co., NE in 1885 Other children, Viola M and Bessie Pearl; not in any censuses ---------------------------------------------- OBITUARY Catherine Spohr [sic] was born at Dayton, Ohio, June 14, 1844 and died at the home of her daughter, two miles south of Loup City, November 19, 1930, at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 5 days. When a small child she moved to Portland, Indiana, where she grew to womanhood. In 1866 she was united in marriage to William Louck. This union was blessed with five children, Mary E., James L., Viola M., Ella C., and Bessie Pearl. She was preceeded [sic] in death by her husband and two daughters, Viola and Bessie. She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mr. James L. Louck, Loup City, Mrs. Mary Bowen, Lake Side, Nebraska, Mrs. Ella Thomsen of Loup City, a brother, Hamilin Spohr [sic], Portland, Indiana, a sister Mrs. Mary Hyatt [sic], of Pennville, Indiana, ten grand children and many friends. Since the death of her husband, Grandma Louck has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. A. B. Thomsen. She was a king loving wife, mother and friend and will be greatly missed by her loved ones and all that knew her. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Presbyterian church in charge of Mrs. L. M. Harwood and the remains were laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.
