Bio
Edward Frank Kolenovsky; Dad, Granddad, Pops, Brother and Friend, passed away on May 17, 2016 in the loving arms of his family after a lengthy illness. He was a legendary AP photographer who made ionic images from sporting events, space programs, news and politics. Ed is survived by sons, Eddie Kolenovsky and daughter-in-law, Terry, Ted Kolenovsky and Terrance Kolenovsky; grandchildren, Trisha Small and husband Cody, Sara Kellogg and husband David, Kimberly Kolenovsky, and Justin Kolenovsky and wife Angela ; great grandchildren, Cade, Colin and Kyle Small, Kentley Kellogg and Jonathan Kolenovsky. He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Mary Helen Murphy-Kolenovsky. Ed enjoyed much of his time away from work cooking, (he was famous for "apple strudel) and woodworking. He will be greatly missed Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 10-10:30am followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30am, with Father David Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Cypress Lucky Mutts Rescue Foundation at www.cypressluckmuttrescue.org
