Hillsboro Reporter Monday, February 23, 2004 HOMER RIDLEHUBER Mr. Homer Wesley Ridlehuber, 76, of Abbott died Monday, February 16, 2004, at his residence. Born June 19, 1927, in Hillsboro, he was the son of Albert James and Annie White Ridlehuber. He married Judy Janek May 5, 1985, in Hillsboro. He worked for Austin Bridge Company for 29 years and later for Spartan Copper in Hillsboro for nine years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mammie Conley. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church of Hillsboro until 1991. Since moving to Abbott, he became a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott. Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Hoyte Ridlehuber and wife, Maurine, of Sherman and Harold Ridlehuber of Hillsboro; two daughters, Betty Cheatham and husband, Ronnie, of Temple and Peggy Pharris of Grand Prairie; five stepsons, Ronald Janek and wife, Janette, of Italy, Tommy Janek of West, David Janek and wife, Eileene, of West, Willie Janek of Duncanville and Harvey Janek of Waco; three brothers, Monroe Ridlehuber of Gun Barrel City, Bobby Ridlehuber of Cleburne and Jerry Ridlehuber of Italy; two sisters, Dorothie Morton of Mount Vernon and Billie Bell of Cleburne; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Rosary was recited at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2004, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial was at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott.
