Grand Island Daily Independent Thursday 18 Oct 1973 p. 8 Area Deaths August Sauser - Cedar Rapids - Funeral services for August P. Sauser, 73, of Cedar Rapids, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids with the Rev. Michael Printy officiating. Burial will be in the parish Tuesday at his home here. The rosary was to be recited Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Mr. Sauser was born Aug. 22, 1900, at David City, to Theodore V. and Julia Speicker Sauser. He was a retired farmer. HE was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
